Flood Barrier
[updated 12th June]
The Flood Barrier at the entrance to the riverside near Armstrong Cottages is now completed
The road has been re-laid and one of the barrier posts can be seen here.
Bus Services

Rothbury is now served by an hourly bus service provided by ARRIVA from Morpeth and in turn these are easily accessed from further afield eg Newcastle. This gives visitors to the North-East an excellent opportunity for a day trip into the countryside for walks, or a pleasant picnic down by the riverside and play area in Rothbury.
